Kelsey attended Kwantlen Polytechnic for general science studios followed by a 2 year diploma program at Thompson Rivers University in the Animal Health Technician Program

What do you love about working at MRVH?
*I love working alongside a passionate, dedicated and hard working team.

What is one work skill you are very proud of?
*I am proud of my ability to utilize my skill set to work calmly through stressful situations.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
*I love assisting with surgeries and seeing our patients from that first exam all the way through to their successful recovery in a few weeks to a few months time.

When you were 5, what career did you think you’d end up in?
*A Veterinarian but I determined I had a passion in animal health care and nursing. I find technicians have the most hands on care directly with the animals. I am proud to be an advocate for excellent patient care.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
*To see the future.

If you could be any animal, what would it be?
*A spoiled adventure dog.

What advice would you give someone who wants to join our team?
*Be prepared to work long days and hopefully you drink caffeinated drinks.
