Stacy has a retail business background with a diploma in Human Resources from Mount Royal College.

What do you love about working at MRVH?
*I came into this roll without Veterinary experience and the whole team has been incredibly supportive in helping me learn the ropes. Our clientele is consistently kind and thoughtful!

What is one work skill you are proud of?
*In my 40’s and starting a new career, I was really nervous but I’ve come to believe that you really can teach an old dog new tricks! But at the heart of it, providing excellent customer service has always been what I am most proud of.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?
*I’m inspired by the passion, dedication and long hours my colleagues put into each day. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure every animal is well taken care of.

When you were 5, what career did you think you’d end up in?
*I thought I would be a florist or professional ringette or hockey player.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
*I would be a musician or comedian.

What advice would you give someone who wants to join our team?
*Come to work with positive energy, don’t be afraid to ask questions, answer questions from your team mates so they can do their job well and be ready to get your steps in. It is also a good idea to laugh at my jokes.
