Dr. Cristian Tugui
Veterinarian
Dr. Tugui (pronounced Toog-wee), originally from Romania, immigrated to Canada 13 years ago. He attended Veterinary College at the University of Montreal and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. As a Veterinary student, he completed a student externship (in dentistry) at the Canada West Veterinary Specialists and Critical Care Hospital in Burnaby. Dr. Tugui has a passion for dentistry, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Upon graduation, he received the American Animal Hospital Association Achievement Award for Excellence in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Tugui has a broad academic background as well as practical experience in several laboratories and clinical settings. These include three clinics in the Fraser Valley, where he worked in the last seven and a half years, post-graduation.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
*Although Dr. Tugui is multilingual, (fluent in French, English and his native Romanian) he would love to learn another language
